This derelict building is owned by Manchester University and they wanted the remains surveyed. The site is on an island and access was over a couple of slippery planks across a very smelly, muddy creek - not the ideal crossing with heavy and expensive surveying gear. The first job was to clear the vegetation from around the building so that I could actually see what I was surveying.
